This parody of the famous 1984 Macintosh Super Bowl Ad was produced as an online teaser for The Royal We's second live revue, "Be All That You Can Buy."
This short was viewed about 1 million times in 2005 thanks to the quality of the short, the familiarity of the parody, and the coincidence of its release with Apple's introduction of the iPod Shuffle. Later, it was linked to as part of a competitor's viral marketing campaign, which also drove viewership through the roof.
